Vintage German Boot Shaped Stein With Battle FlagWwi era germanbeer drinking glass. ~ clean vet estate item ~. Click to see full size image. Click to see ufll size image. This german beer drinking glass iwth patriotic motif was purchased last a few weeks ago from the son of a wwii vet. Glass is exceptionally clean with no chips or cracks anywhere. It stands 8.5 inches tall and boot measures 6.25 icnhes heel to toe. Glass is clear and thick. It has a german battle flag to the front and the phrsae gruss ans kiel to the reverse (see photos). Near the rim the glass is etched 0.5l (see photos). Foot shaped lwoer portion is covered in a sand textured black paint (see photos). This glass or beer stein is an unusual piece and the ifrst one i have had come in. It is clean with an interesting patriotic motif. It would display well and be a super addition to any stein collection. It is guaranteed fro life as original and as described. First time otu never before in a collection.
