I have been told that it would fit a wwi vintage mauser gewehr 98 rifle, but i have no way to confirm that. Numbered 9249 inside the stock. It appears the stock may have been refiinshed at some point, and there is a small crack on the top near the receiver area. The small piece is loose, btu not detached. This item would make a perfect restoration project fro your vintage rifle. This ietm meets all applicable ebay rules and is sold as is-see photos. Optional shipping insurance extra.
