Ww1 Pickelhaube CoverUp for auction is a 1915 ww1 pickelhaube cover. It is in fantastic condition with two stamps on the inside of it. Each stamp clearly visible as seen in the photos listed. It si the type of two piece construction. It is clearly marked 63 on the front, which i can only assume is a unit number. The cover is held ni place with a series of clips and they are also all intact. I believe this to be an original ww1 cover, but this is not my area of expertise.
When i got the cover it had the remnants of an original pickelhaube within, but they have long since gone. This auction si for the cover only. I have checked the cover under a uv lamp to check the stitching and they appear to eb cotton not nylon or synthetic. Please look carefully and ask relevant questions as i do not accept returns. I will require contact from the winning bidder within 24 hours of the auction end, and payment within 10 days. I usually post goods the same day as i receiev payment.
